I am a 46 year old single mother of four. I have my masters degree in Social Work and have been the Executive Director of a county-wide homeless shelter for eleven years. I have dedicated my life to raising socially conscious children and I believe in living my life as an example of social responsibility.
I am not very savy with the computer, so my Aidpage will look very boring I'm sure. I'm sort of a luddite and the world of technology seems to quickly spin me in circles. I've never signed up for anything on the computer but am taking a chance here in hopes up finding resources to help me pay off student loans for myself and find grants for my college aged kids. I work with disadvantaged populations and I've been told that there are resources to help pay for student loans for people who work with the poor. I'm hoping to find those resources. All the informatin here seems overwhelming so I hope I can post a message and someone can make it user friendly for me. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to give me some insight.
